Applies to all licensed MixxedFit® Instructors, National Trainers, Master Educators, and affiliated representatives.

MixxedFit® exists to bring people together through fitness while serving our communities. The following standards protect our brand, instructors, and participant experience.

National Trainers and Master Educators are also subject to additional Leadership Standards outlined below.

Mission Alignment

By maintaining an active MixxedFit® license, instructors agree to uphold the MixxedFit® mission:

To bring people together through fitness while serving our communities.

Instructors are expected to reflect the MixxedFit® brand, including:

  • We are people-inspired. 

  • We play all types of genres of music. 

  • Our moves are easy to follow and repetitive. 

  • We incorporate bodyweight toning.

  • Everything we do is explosive.


1. License Status & Teaching

  • Certification does not require instructors to teach a minimum number of classes.

  • However, instructors who teach, promote, or publicly represent MixxedFit® must maintain an active license in good standing.

  • Inactive license holders may not teach, list classes, or represent themselves as active MixxedFit instructors.

2. License & Certification Compliance

  • Licensing and certification must remain current.

  • Lapsed or unpaid licenses result in inactive status and loss of teaching privileges.

3. Format Integrity

  • MixxedFit must be delivered according to certification standards.

  • At least 70% of each class must include official MixxedFit Basic Moves (7 foundational moves) and/or Advanced Moves taught in Level 2 training.

  • Classes must remain clearly recognizable as MixxedFit and may not be rebranded or marketed as a derivative program.

4. Class Finder Requirement

  • Active instructors must maintain accurate class listings at www.ilovemixxedfit.com.

  • Schedule or location changes must be updated promptly.

5. Brand Representation

  • Official MixxedFit® apparel must be worn when teaching or representing the brand publicly.

  • Only approved logos and branding may be used in marketing materials.

6. Intellectual Property Protection

  • All MixxedFit® choreography, branding, materials, graphics, and digital resources are proprietary.

  • Materials may not be shared, reproduced, recorded, modified, or used outside licensed parameters.

  • Unauthorized use after license termination is prohibited.

7. Merchandise & Trademark Protection

  • The MixxedFit® name, logo, phrases, and branding may not be reproduced, printed, altered, embroidered, heat-pressed, or manufactured without written authorization.

  • MixxedFit® is a registered trademark. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

  • This includes items created for personal use, gifts, classes, or events — even if not sold.

  • Official merchandise must be purchased through: www.mixxedfitstore.com or an authorized reseller.

  • Unauthorized production may result in suspension, termination, and/or legal action.

  • Report violations to: customersupport@mixxedfit.com

8. Professional Class Standards

Instructors must:

  • Arrive prepared and on time

  • Provide safe warm-up and cooldown; 70% of songs in a class playlist must include basic moves.

  • Offer appropriate cues and modifications

  • Follow venue and music licensing requirements

  • Maintain a safe, professional environment

  • Create a friendly, and inviting atmosphere

9. Music & Audience Appropriateness

  • Instructors must exercise professional judgment and know their audience.

  • Music, lyrics, and choreography must be appropriate for the venue and demographic.

  • Clean versions should be used when available.

  • Discriminatory, hateful, or degrading language is not permitted.

10. Non-Discrimination

  • Discrimination, harassment, bullying, or exclusionary behavior is prohibited in classes and online communities.

11. Public Conduct

  • Concerns must be addressed privately through official channels.

  • Public conduct that materially harms the MixxedFit® brand or community is not acceptable.

  • Misrepresentation of certification level or leadership title is prohibited.

12. Administrative Responsibility

13. Resource Center & Community Access

  • Access to the Instructor Resource Center and official instructor groups is limited to active license holders.

  • Inactive licenses result in loss of access.

14. Event Authorization

  • Events, retreats, or branded gatherings using the MixxedFit® name require prior written approval from Corporate.

15. Enforcement & Reactivation

Non-compliance may result in:

  • Warning

  • Probation

  • Suspension

  • License termination

Reinstatement requires:

  • Payment of a $39 reactivation fee

  • Re-sign the Code of Conduct 

  • Compliance with current standards

  • Corporate approval

Reactivation is not guaranteed.


Leadership Standards

In addition to the Code above, National Trainers and Master Educators must:

  1. Teach 2–3 MixxedFit classes per week.

  2. Mentor and support instructors in their region.

  3. Support workshops, demos, or community activities annually.

  4. Participate in required leadership communications.

  5. Maintain visible alignment with brand standards.

  6. Undergo annual leadership review.

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and understand the MixxedFit® Code of Conduct, and I commit to upholding the values that make our community strong, supportive, and people inspired.

I understand that not adhering to this Code of Conduct may result in further action, which could include removal from my position.
